Pin Types Guide

Your ELD module will require one of the following adapter cables:

OBD 16-Pin

The 16-pin port is more common in medium to light-duty vehicles, but checking the pin guide above will help you visually determine which adapter cable you will need.

6-Pin Port

Most trucks built before 2001 have a 6-pin port, but you can use the visual guide above to accurately determine which port is in your vehicle. 

9-Pin Port

Most vehicles manufactured after 2007 will have a 9-pin port, but you can refer to the visual guide above to see which one matches the port in your vehicle.
